Panquentin

Panquentin is a declaration, cooking points and striping system for the student flat 'San Quentin' in Enschede. The website was built after student flat declaration websites like eetlijst.nl.

Flat Bill

The flat bill is a list of declarations, made in a period. For declarations, one debtor can be set and multiple creditors, with either the website figuring out the division automatically. One can also choose to set custom weights, or divide the money by hand. At the end of a period, this period can be closed. This is the flat bill that the participants can then settle among themselves.

Cooking points

When adding a declaration to the flat bill, one can choose to use the list of participants of that declaration to distribute cooking points over. This is a separate points system that determines the effort put into cooking of each participant.

Striping

Also, a simple striping system was made. It was built with a tablet computer in mind, but can just as easily be used on one's smartphone. After all drinks are striped, the system determines the cost of the drinks and distributes them among the drinkers. A drink bill, analogous to the flat bill, is created from this information, which can then be settled similarly.
