KNMI observations archive

As part of the KNMI weather application that has been running since roughly March 2022, I have been collecting weather observation data from the 10 minutes synoptic observations dataset.

This data, is now available, grouped by month, at /knmi_archive/.

In some of the months, some data is missing. This is mainly due to server outages. A file is present that annotates all missing files.

A subset of this dataset was used in a bachelor thesis found here.

This dataset is practically obsolete due to the introduction of the KNMI EDR api. Therefore no guarantee will be given as to the long-term availability online of this data. If this data will become unavailable over time, I do not intend on deleting this data. May you ever need this data, you can get in touch with the webmaster of this website.
